The underwater world at night is an amazing place! A variety of nocturnal creatures,
dormant during the day, are active in the evenings. Bioluminescence lights and flickers
in response to movements by divers, squid hover under your dive light, and comb jellies
glow neon purple.

Night diving is an incredible experience. The Night Diver Specialty course allows divers to experience
this amazing world and learn the proper techniques for night diving under the guidance of an experienced instructor.  Once certified, divers will receive the PADI Night Diver specialty certification and be eligible to participate without instructor supervision on the weekly scheduled night dives offered by Aqua Center. The Night Diver Specialty course also counts towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

The course is open to all open water certified divers and consists of three night dives with briefing and lecture. Divers must have sufficient primary and back up dive lights, as well as a marker light (cylum stick or similar) whistle, and compass.
